Joining the Ride For Doug around the world is easy. Take your bike, take a ride, and take a picture. Send it in with a short description of where you rode, and any message you have for either Doug or other riders. I'll post your photo - and you'll have just brightened the day of a young biker facing a very tough road.
My dream is to help set up Ride For Doug events all around the world. Each event raising awareness and money for it's own local Muscular Dystrophy organisation. This disease knows no borders. So if you can - grab some buddies, and as you ride for Doug - raise some funds for your local area MD team. If you need help finding them - let me know, and I can help find you a connection.
We can make muscles move - one ride at a time.
Here are just some of the places and people that made Ride For Doug 2011 such a success!

Russ and Marj went for a ride in France. They took their R1200RT out for an afternoon ride, and managed to beat out an approaching storm without getting too wet. It looks like a beautiful place to ride. We've been invited out to do a future RFD with them in Europe. Any takers?

Angela and Daryll are also "returning" Ride For Doug riders. They rode with us in Langley before setting off on a round the world adventure. This year they rode for Doug in Kenya. You can follow
A long time Ride For Doug veteran, Doug's uncle Darren did this year's ride in Newfoundland. Visiting the furthest east point in Canada, neither rain nor fog kept Darren from checking in from The Rock on ride day. Serves him right - he missed last year's rain at the BC ride.
