During the planning for Ride For Doug, I watched the series Long Way Round , where Ewan and Charley went up against all odds in an around the world motorcycle trip. It was inspiring to see how many people's lives they touched. It gave me encouragement to push on. I invited them (long story that I'm not going to insert here) to join me in my Ride For Doug. They were filming the sequel - Long Way Down - at the exact same time as Ride For Doug, and agreed to dedicate some of their miles that day for Doug. So Ewan, Charley, and their cameraman Claudio did their Ride For Doug in Malawi, Africa.
